DConvert version 2.0
This page contains information about DConvertv2.0 tool used for preprocessing the text input. This tool transforms the input file using transform dictionary into file which is highly compressible.
All program require cc or gcc to compile.

How it works
Working of DConvertv2.0 is explained clearly in this document.
How to use
DConvertv2.0 [Options] Eng-Dict Trans-Dict input-file output-file
These are command line options for this program:
- Eng-Dict
- This is English dictionary containing list of English words.
- Trans-Dict
- This is Transform dictionary contains a word which is one-to-one map of word in English dicitionary.
- input-file
- The file that need to be applied with transformation provided in Trans-Dict.
- output-file
- The output file contains transformed input-file
- -v --verbose
- This provide complete information about what DConvertv2.0 is doing.
- -i --Version Information
- Shows version information of DConvertv2.0
- -d --Deconvert
- Deconverts the file using the given dictionaries
How to get it
tar and gzipped files are currently available. In order to decompress the file use "gzip -d filename" if it is gzipped else use "tar -xvf filename".

Preliminary results on improvement of DConvertv2.0 over convert (ver 1.0) are present in this document
